Jennifer Crancer specializes in the areas of civil litigation, insurance litigation, and government representation. Jennifer also prosecutes for the Cities of Golden Valley, Hopkins, and Medicine Lake, and the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
Jennifer has extensive experience representing clients’ individual and business needs throughout all stages of litigation, including the initial investigation and consultation of cases, drafting and filing motions, and successfully trying cases. Prior to joining Chestnut Cambronne, Jennifer represented the State of Missouri as a senior prosecuting attorney for the County of Greene, where she prosecuted felony property and tax offenses. Jennifer served as lead counsel on numerous bench and jury trials. After moving to Minnesota in 2015, Jennifer concentrated her practice on providing counsel for insurance coverage disputes and assisting insurers in the investigation and litigation of fraudulent claims. Jennifer’s work has included the handling of fraudulent personal injury claims, theft claims, arson claims, and commercial liability claims.
During law school, Jennifer clerked for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and the St. Louis County Circuit Court. She also worked with an estate planning firm meeting with clients and assisting in the reorganization of assets to provide effective long and short-term estate and tax planning services.
Jennifer is an active member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers association and the Junior League of Minneapolis. Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys golfing and traveling.
