Jerry (given name Jeremy, but only my kindergarten teacher called me that) Steiner joined Chestnut Cambronne as an “of counsel” attorney in August of 2016 after more than thirty years in the same small suburban practice as fellow Chestnut Cambronne attorney, Wynn Curtiss. Jerry has represented numerous small and medium sized businesses in business formations, contract drafting and disputes, succession planning and a variety of other areas. He provided legal services to the City of Hopkins for 33 years and served as the appointed City attorney for over 10 years. Jerry’s primary area of practice is now commercial real estate, representing buyers, sellers, developers, contractors, brokers and property managers in all matters related to commercial real estate, including development, leasing, financing and governmental approvals. Other areas of practice include residential real estate and construction law. Jerry was one of the first attorneys certified as a real property law specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and continues to maintain that certification.
Jerry could go on to describe my hobbies, beautiful grandkids, love of outdoor activities, track and field events and the Twins (win or lose), but he knows that you’re looking for a lawyer, not the most interesting man in the world, or you wouldn‘t have read this far.
